Just caught up

Postby Bobhr on Tue Mar 25, 2008 10:02 pm

Hi all , I have just liberated my PC from my offspring ! POVEDA !
Last night my body ached and my heels were sore but I had really had a lovely time.
It was great to do what we do best and also to meet new comrades.
I am glad as well that Walter commented on the total absence of anything tractor-orientated in the "factory" ; but what and excellent setup that was ? !
I was deeply sympathetic to the plight of the T34 ; but like all things mechanical: it has the final word and depite the lack of power it was areal thrill to climb on it.
Neill I just want to say thank you.

Would one of you be kind enough to write this up for the KZ?
Looks like I missed a blinder, as usual.

Without doubt the best photos I've ever seen of a 2nd Guards event. I always thought the underground galleries were atmospheric.

Glad to see you finally got the underground galleries... always thought it would make a good setting for the 2nd.

Is that a R123 there I see.... taken out of a disabled tank I assume ;-)

Privet comrades, That was a darn good weekend. I was really getting into life underground to the point where I looked into the sky for the Stukkas and simutaneously thinking 'fool' its only the sound effects! Brilliant, the miserable weather was just a mild irritation. Hope this will be the start of an enjoyable year ahead :D

Postby Bobhr on Sun Mar 30, 2008 5:02 pm

Well done Alexei.
It is great to hear thst you enjoyed Ft Nelson.
I agree with all you say: it was an excellent scenario.
I almost felt guilty when the best crokery got broken each time the sound effect played !!

I have just returned from Ashby Private Battle and can honestly say I am happier than I have ever been !
It was professional and it was fun.
Need i say more.

My washing line is a display of plashe designs and my hall is full of kit.
I am bathed and have a glass of wine and am happy.

I am really pleased I joined 2nd Gds. It is unique.

On top of that I was very happy to see the guys from 146.
True Comradeship.

Memo to self: "Position shelter far enough away to not hear "La La" songs in any language at 0130 ".

I loved it. :Lots of happy faces on my Comrades.
Lots of gentle but firm Leadership from my Bosses.
Lots of Fasch in the sights of my Mauser . Retribution !

Yes a really good event. Good to try the new camo suit out and scout ahead for my comrades. Wished i'd stayed for the sunday as the weather at home was clear sky and sun. Hopefully more of the group will turn up next time, have enjoyed informing them of missing a good event. And we outnumbered the fascists for once, usually the place is crawling with them like fly's on S**t. :D
